Nose Reshaping
Nose Reshaping

If you are sensitive or self-conscious about the size and shape of your nose, you may wish to have your nose reshaped.

This procedure involves reshaping the nose by narrowing, trimming, straightening, repositioning and/or removing a portion of the nasal bones and altering the supporting cartilages.

Although nose reshaping cannot create a carbon copy of someone else’s nose, it can reduce or increase the size of your nose, remove a ‘bump’, change the shape of the tip or the bridge, narrow the span of the nostrils or change the angle between your nose and your upper lip. It can also help correct a birth defect, an injury caused deformity or help relieve some breathing problems.

The result can be a subtle change to your appearance or a complete new nasal shape that no longer stands out against the other features of your face.

During the pre-op consultation your surgeon will discuss your expectations and concerns, analyse what you don’t like about the shape of your nose and discuss with you the procedure and your options.

Although your surgeon will advise the most appropriate nose size and shape for you by assessing your facial proportions, you will make the final decision.
