AUTUMN NEWSLETTER

Welcome to our Autumn newsletter from The Lotus Institute,

There is no denying, it has been, a difficult couple of years for all. We are now trying to live with Covid and manage the best way we can and we praise the efforts of our medical teams and scientists and frontline workers for all their hard work and research into this virus and how to help us all live a normal life again.

At The Lotus Institute, our team would like to thank you, for your patience and understanding through these difficult times, when we have had, to cancel surgeries, change appointments, reschedule procedures and in some cases cancel all appointments for non-surgical procedures.

After difficult times, it is always wonderful to celebrate the different occasions that arise each year, such as Birthdays, Mothers day, Fathers day and Christmas. On the 14th of Feb 2022, we celebrated Valentines day with in-house specials and a few chocolate Hearts, were sprinkled around at Reception.

On Valentines Day, we also welcomed to The Lotus Institute, Georgia, our new Practice Manager. Georgia has come from a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Administration background and has been an experienced Practice Manager for a number of years. Georgia is leading the team in a positive direction and some wonderful changes are already happening at The Lotus Institute from her excellent leadership. 

We have also said good-bye to our Receptionist Val, who came back to us again after a year in Bali, to now finally retire. Val has been with The Lotus Institute for over 20 years and we wish her the very best, in her new endeavors, as one never really retires, but continues on their next adventure in life. We also say goodbye to Rebecca, our Marketing Executive and we thank her, for her time here at the Lotus Institute and wish her nothing but the best for the future.

Along with Georgia arriving at The Lotus Institute, we also welcome Bree, our new Receptionist.  Bree is working efficiently as a member of the team and helping our clients with their appointment schedules and all the duties that come with the front desk.

Our Doctor, Dr. Peter Widdowson, continues to be busy, with consulting appointments and theatre lists and patients are attending post-operative appointments for  after  care with our wonderful Nursing Team, Bea, Cheryl, Jill and Gail.

Also added to the website is our new App, The Podbean. The PodBean has the recent radio interviews,  done on the Byron Bay community radio station and the 4CBH community radio station on the Gold Coast.  It is definitely worth tuning into the Pod Bean.
